Virtual Reality Experience Comes to Clones

On Friday, March 6th, people in Clones had the chance to step into another world as a Virtual Reality (VR) experience arrived at The Diamond.

Running from 12:30pm to 3:00pm, the event invited members of the public to try out VR in a fun and relaxed setting. Participants simply popped on a headset and were instantly transported into exciting virtual environments.

During the sessions, visitors were able to experience what it’s like to explore space as an astronaut or take in breathtaking views from the heights of a mountain, all through the power of VR.

Each experience lasted around 15 minutes, making it easy for people to drop in and give it a try. No previous experience was needed, and the sessions were designed to be beginner-friendly and hands-on.

The event was organised by Enterprising Monaghan and created a great opportunity for the community to try something completely new while learning about emerging technology.

For many attendees, it was their very first time using virtual reality, and a memorable introduction to what this exciting technology can offer!
